I’ve been itching to return to a Design Team for a while now, but not quite found the right fit yet. But then Zoe, of Make it Crafty, put out this DT call, and it was exactly what I had hoped to find in a DT.
So … Zoe … for your consideration … just 2 of the fun things I have done with all time favourite stamp from MiC …Court Bunny.
First things first … I had to colour him with copics. Colours used include W0, W1, W2, W3, C0, C1, C2, C3, E50, E51, E53, R20, R22, R24, R27, R29, B0000, B00 and B01. I wanted to keep him for myself, so I added him to the cover of a gorgeous Typo notebook where I will write down my impossible ideas 😀
Next … well … I’ve been on a real embroidery kick lately. Blackwork and bamboo hoops fill my dreams … how could this sweet bunny not be immortalised in thread?
I really want to paint him on my daughter’s bedroom door, but hubby’s not so keen on that. Ah well … a canvas will have to suffice (oh, what a shame … I’ll have to visit the art store on Monday). Maybe in the meantime I’ll paint him on a t-shirt so I can keep him close.
In conclusion … Zoe … this new DT really does sound right up my ally. Your images are divine (they make my daughter’s go ‘oooooooo’ and ‘ahhhhhhhhh’), and present the kind of meaty colouring challenge I love. I pretty much live on Facebook, so I can’t think of any better way to spend some time that chatting with other MiC fans and encouraging them to show off their work (even if they’re holding it up from under the table … we’ll lure them out *tee hee*). Whether I’m colouring with copics, paint, thread or fabric, I’m always creating something … I’d love to tempt others to unpack their creativity and have a go!
