I’ll admit it … I had trouble deciding between two cool swap themes for this month, so why not have two? You can join just one, or you can join both. Details will go out starting tomorrow, closing Sunday. Due date is 26 September, and late swaps will not be accepted.
These swaps are open to Australian residents only. If you are an international swapper, and you really, really want to join, you will need to allow at least 2 full weeks, preferably 3, for delivery. Return post is an issue, because I cannot use international postage stamps to return your swap, so you would need to pay the return post via Paypal.
So … let’s look at these one at a time.
Card swap – Circles
Use some sort of circle on your card somewhere. Might be a shaped card, pattern paper with circles, punched circles, round embellishments or something else. I have made a Pinterest board of inspiration … you can see it HERE. Full size cards with an envelope. Make 6 and receive 6 different cards in return.
If you’re after a bit more of a challenge, this is the swap for you! Card candy is like making your own 3D embellishments! Never heard of it? Well … I made a rather sizeable Pinterest board full of amazing card candy, and you can totally copy something exactly if you like! See the inspriation board HERE. We will start off easy with this one … everyone will make 4 set that have 4 pieces in each. We need at least 5 people to sign up for this to go ahead, and you will receive 4 different card candy sets in return.
Packing & Posting
If you are joining both, you can send them in the same envelope. If you could bag them separately, that would be great!
If you would like to join, or just get full details of the swap, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘CARDS & CANDY’ in the subject line. Details will be sent by return email starting Wednesday, and close Sunday.
